Ik hoorde dit liedje vandaag voor het eerst van mijn leven op Radio 2. Daar zijn ze op het moment bezig met de Top2000 stemweek. En dit nummer werd getipt door een van de deejays. Tim Christensen zingt het en het ging recht naar mijn hart. Ik tip m aan jou.

Voor iedereen die de liefde had kunnen hebben, maar er net naast greep. Of dit nu je eigen keuze was, of dat de omstandigheden ernaar waren, feit blijft dat de sterren niet goed stonden. Bezoekje gebracht aan het Instituut voor Beeld en Geluid in Hilversum. Een aanrader, wat een trip down memory lane, maar er werden ook nieuwe herinneringen gemaakt, want in een van de luistercabine’s ontdekte ik deze prachtige vertaling van Killing me Softly, gezongen door Gerard Cox. Over hoe de sleur in een relatie kan sluipen. Waak ervoor…
